WD 40 GB hard drive
gn2 was the Buyer on September 16, 2006 RedFlagDeals
Buyer whined like a baby from the first moment he received the package. The package was received damaged but as far as I am concerned it was packed correctly but how Canada post handles the package is beyond my control. The item appeared to be damaged but had no bearing on the functionality. The buyer was given the option to go through the insurance, accept a refund or accept a $5 refund and keep the goods as is. He accepted the final offer and several weeks go by before he complains that the hard drive was defective and blames me for it. I had scanned that hard drive for errors before it was shipped and there was nothing wrong with it. I suggest you do your homework next time and ask the right questions. This whole thing could have been resolved if you had taken the opportunity to go through the insurance.
Response from gn2Heatseeker was COMPLETELY at fault and ONLY offered solutions that would COST ME MONEY. Left negative evaluation FOR SPITE.
As a buyer, I COMPLETELY fulfilled all of my obligations with instant payment and excellent communication.
This guy is hell to deal with and refused entirely to take responsibility for damage caused entirely by his TOTAL LACK OF CARE IN PACKAGING.
Insurance was NEVER AN OPTION.
The post office is not a fool, and will not pay \"insurance\" on items IMPROPERLY PACKAGED, as was this hdd.
It took me time to check this drive because I thought it was working since it was initially recognized and mounted properly. ONLY through use did I realize it was TOTALLY DAMAGED as a result of Heatseeker\'s COMPLETE LACK OF CARE when packaging.
Wouldn\'t you whine like a baby if someone took your money, sent something in such a way that GUARANTEED IT WOULD BE DAMAGED, then refused to refund the total cost of the item ?
Heatseeker to this day refuses to take responsibility for his NEGLECTFUL actions.
